These bitless halter bridles are made from diamond braid rope custom made here in the U.S. for Sunset Halters. The fiador knot at the chin makes it easy to adjust. Tie off ends are finished with a lover's knot.
The browband and jaw straps are made from Samson flat braid. These are available in black or white only. |
The noseband is wrapped with 1/16" diamond braid shown below. Add these colors into the message section of check out.

When rein pressure is applied, it causes both poll pressure, and nose pressure. It encourages a horse to drop their head, tuck their nose and give to the pressure.
When you pull on the right rein, the horse will feel the right rein pressure pulling. There will also be pressure on the left side of the face pushing. Because horses try to avoid pressure, they will move away from it, giving to that right rein.
Jaw straps are easily removed, so you can also use this like a regular rope halter, a sidepull, or even a bitted halter/bridle (with added side straps or bit hangers). Reins sold seperately. You choose from our 4 main sizes - $45. Email us with any questions!
