These mecates are made with top of the line 1/2" yacht braid rope. They're much heavier and have more 'feel' to them than the average yacht braid rope.
Because each strand is twisted, it wears better and snags much less. This rope is abrasion, rot, mildew, snag and fade resistant.
Each set of mecates are complete with spliced, weighted ends. You can choose two poppers or one popper and one tassel.
