These Hope Rope Halters™ are made with a fairly stiff 1/4" halter cord. We use a fiador knot at the chin, our special throat latch knot, and lovers knots throughout. The ends are also finished with a lover's knot.
Because of the stiffer rope, low stretch and strength, these make great training halters, as well as halters for every day use.
Each halter color has a designated charity. $2 per halter is pre-donated to it's charity. This is a great way to support your favorite charity, as well as get a top quality American made halter.

This top of the line polyester yacht braid is made right here in the U.S.A.
Because each strand is made up of twisted fibers, it doesn't snag easily, and puts up with hard use, very well. This rope is abrasion, rot, mildew, snag and fade resistant.
All yacht braid leads and lunge lines come complete with a spliced, hand sewn eye, and a spliced, weighted end with popper and decorative knot.
We're in the process of switch all of our 1/2" yacht braid lead over to this larger, heavier 9/16". As we run out of colors in the 1/2", we'll be adding them here in the 9/16".
They are measured from the tip of the eye, to the tip of the weighted end. The popper will add about 6" to the length of the rope. If you don't want the decorative knot, please leave the box below, empty. Snaps are sold separately below. Starting at $

These durable sticks are made with 3/8" fiberglass rods. The comfortable rubber handle is made specifically for this size of stick- no shims are used. Sticks available in three or four foot lengths.
Our sticks toppers are made from durable, rot resistant rope, using our own custom design. We've been using this great topper for more than a decade, and have had nothing but compliments!

Quick Catch Halter Instructions-
We use these when we bring our horses in from the fields at night. Quick and easy to put on and take off. This rope is very strong- tested to 2,300 pound and comfortable, yet thin enough to have plenty of 'bite' if need be.
Shown below is how to put on a quick catch halter. Make sure it's nice and snug- sitting just below the cheek bones. To take off your quick catch halter, simply slip the nose piece off the nose, and pull the lead. The whole halter will come off the horse.

Put new loop up over the nose, tighten right below the cheek bone.
We haven't had any problems with the nose piece loosening on it's own. We're bringing four horses in at night, and turning them out in the morning. But hypothetically, if the noseband loosened enough, to fall off the nose, you could potentially have a loose horse.

This halter is made from 5mm accessory cord. Made by the same rope manufacturer as above, it's available in most of the same great colors.
Because of it's smaller diameter, it's a great training halter for those smaller ponies and youngin's. These also include extra noseband knots (not shown).

Extra Noseband Knots included (not shown)
This is an easy way to prove your tack belongs to you. Great for those honest mix ups. And those not-so-honest mix ups.
You can add your initials, your last name, or even your horses name. Use up to six letters per popper side. We can do both sides of your popper if need be.
This can be done on 1/2" poppers, which are used on all of our 1/2" yacht braid and flat braid tack. This includes mecates, split reins, lead ropes and lunge lines.
Be sure to specify in the 'Letters' section below, what you would like customized. (ie. 'WINGS' - 12ft navy lead)
Please note: Once leather products are stamped per your instructions, they are no longer returnable. 50¢ per letter.

Brass Swivel Snap
Our brass swivel snaps are not 'hard spliced' into your rope- it's added after the splice. With the snap attached this way, it's very easy to replace the snap once it eventually wears out. Which means it prolongs the life of your lead rope.

These reins are made from premium 9/16" polyester yacht braid rope, made right here in the USA. The ends are weighted with tassels (shown) or poppers - you choose.
Reins measurements are the full length of rein, including slobber straps. Our slobber straps are available in quick change style, as well as traditional style. If you choose the quick change style (shown to your left), your reins will come tied on to them.
Our slobber straps are made for us by a leather shop in the midwest, using premium hides. Everything you see is American made.
Optional decorative knots are available. You can pick up to two colors. Decorative knots are too big to pull back through the slobber strap hole. So if you'd like to take your rein rope off the quick change slobber straps, or if you want to use traditional slobber straps, don't add the decorative knots. If you don't want decorative knots, just leave the box below, blank. Starting at $

This rope is very strong, yet soft and compact. It's great for use as an emergency halter, as well as quickly moving horses to new fields, barn, etc.
These are quick and easy to put on, and even easier and faster to take off. Just slide the nose piece off, and pull the lead. For this reason, you need to make sure you put this on snug, with the nose piece higher on the head.
